Here are the steps you need to follow to get rid of IDM cross-issue in Google
Chrome.

Update IDM to Latest Version: First of all, you need to update IDM
[Internet Download Manager]. because having an old version of it can be one
reason for this error. -
Reinstall IDM Extension Manually: Now, remove IDM extension from
Chrome and reinstall it manually using the IDMGCExt.crx file. if you don’t

Restart Chrome: After reinstalling IDM Integration Module restart
Google Chrome to check did the issue got fixed or not.
Note: This issue comes when you update IDM but not the extension in Chrome, so
if a new version of IDM comes then remember to update its extension also. You
just need to press the update button in the Chrome extension tab to update all
installed extensions of your Chrome web browser.
